About the Role
Starfish Consulting is seeking two experienced Senior Business Analysts to join a key government agency here in Wellington in a fixed-term capacity. These exciting long-term roles will involve the writing of number of business cases that will be harmonizing a number critical across agency reports that will affect and improve policy design.
These positions offer the chance to contribute to projects that have a meaningful impact on New Zealanders. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will work within a dynamic team to provide critical analysis and support, driving projects forward in an agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, design and deliver a number business cases across a number of projects
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and define business requirements.
- Analyse and improve business processes and systems.
- Develop business models and conduct situation analysis.
- Facilitate effective communication between technical and non-technical teams.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of tools and processes that enhance organisational capabilities.
Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Business Analyst in complex, large-scale programme or Portfolio environments.
- Delivered small and value based business cases that our linked to value.
- Proven experience in agile environments.
- Strong skills in business process improvement and business modelling.
- Proficiency in conducting business situation analysis, especially in ambiguous and complex scenarios.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to engage with diverse stakeholders and facilitate conflict resolution.
- Relevant qualifications and/or experience in information and communications technology.
